As the Principal Investigator for SEEK-GSP project, this new approach to deliver treatment to people living with both depression and HIV in Northern Uganda using Group Support Psychotherapy (GSP) has been a success and with extended funding from the partners, SEEK-GSP is expected to tremendously improve the lives of people within the different communities in the districts of Gulu, Kitgum and Pader.

Knowledge is power. As SEEK-GSP, we have invested in research about depression, mental health and HIV. This online platform has a lot of valuable resources regarding depression, health and HIV.

The major beneficiaries of the the project are people living with HIV/AIDS who are to be treated for major depression mainly using Group Support Psychotherapeutic interventions(GSP). The project is being implemented within 3 districts of Gulu, Pader and Kitgum in Northern Uganda. The lay health workers for the project who will offer support to the beneficiaries in the villages will be district Community health workers and Village Health Team members.
